READ THE REVIEW

What a wonderful book! I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked it up, but I was quickly drawn into Katie and Liam's life and was invested in not only their problems but the relationships of the supporting characters. In a very real sense, they were not supporting at all, but a very important part of the story.

There's been quite a bit of tension between Katie and Liam, but even when they were fussing, their love showed through. Their motorcycle accident and the ensuing problems showed them both just how important their life together and their love was.

The story line was well-written with a lot of twists and turns in the story that were unexpected, both spiritual and physical, and I really liked the way Ms. Hutton describes the power of intention. I've always been a positive thinker, but I'm going to be a lot more deliberate now in my thinking. It was not preachy in any way at all, though. Just being able to see what happens when one person is focused was encouraging.

I've not read anything else by Ms. Hutton, but I will be keeping my eye out for her from now on.

READ AN EXCERPT

“Oh, I almost forgot.” Reaching into his pocket, Liam pulled out a silver band. “I brought this in for you.” He traced a finger across the inscription on the ring—Mo Anam Cara—Gaelic for ‘my soul mate.’ He’d given it to Katie on their first wedding anniversary. He slipped it onto Katie’s right ring finger, then lifted her hand. The tiny diamond in the band sparkled as big and bright as his love for her. “Thought you might want this to remind you that you’re still my always and forever. You make me insanely happy,” he said, rubbing the ring. “Come back to me, Katie-Cat.”

When he lowered Katie’s hand, she linked her fingers with his.

  3. Dear Ms. Hutton, I have a question! Since you live in the Smoky Mountains area, are you a fan od country or bluegrass music? Also, what kind of music do you use for writing inspiration?
