READ THE INTERVIEW

Tell us about your current book in 10 words.

Exploring mindfulness for children regarding emotions and equanimity

What are you reading right now?

Right now I am reading Dark Places, Rich Dad/Poor Dad and One Buddha Is Not Enough

Do you have any bad book habits?

I am the worst for starting a book, and not finishing it, or jumping around.

E-Reader or print? and why?

I love love love reading on my E-reader, or phone. First of all I have it with me at all time, which is perfect for just getting in that last chapter as I wait for the kids to be let out at school. I have also got into graphic novels on the kindle app, and how they transition from scene to scene is unbelievable!

One book at a time or multiples?

I always have 2-4 books on the go, usually a thriller, or true crime, paired with some sort of self-help book, and I always have meditation boo on the go

When do you do most of your reading?

I usually read right before bed, which can be an issue for my sleep lol. So I have stopped reading thrillers before bed time.

Favorite genre?

It’s a tie…true crime and psychological thrillers. I LOOOOOOOVE anything true crime! I listen to a ridiculous amount of true crime podcasts, and I am always on the hunt for any book based on true crime. I also love the typical fast paced page turners that thrillers offer.

Do you loan your books?

Not anymore. I use to loan out books to clients and friends, with a return rate about 6% lol so that has stopped. Now I only “loan” a book out if I am ok with it not coming back.

Favorite book to recommend?

Why we sleep. This book completely changed how I look at sleep, and I found all the studies and data mind blowing.

  1. This sounds like a wonderful book. I'd love to read it to my 2 grandsons. They're at the ages that need to learn about how to handle their anger.
