Thanks to Goddess Fish Promotions for the chance to review this book--and thanks to J.M., who is awarding Tea and Chip Nuts to three randomly drawn commenters (US/CANADA ONLY) during this tour and her Super Book Blast Tour. Sounds yummy... and I want to try them myself... seriously, nuts coated in potato chips? What could be better?? Well, if they had bacon flavored, maybe. You can find out where else J.M is stopping through this link: http://goddessfishpromotions.blogspot.com/2013/06/virtual-reviews-tour-esposito-series-by.html.

READ THE REVIEW

A cozy mystery with a large dose of romance, For Love of Livvy was a fun way to spend a few hours reading.

The characters were individual and well rounded, and I enjoyed meeting them, especially Vinnie's friend, Larry. There is also a love triangle of sorts, though there is never a doubt as to who Vinnie prefers. The mystery is interesting and two-fold: how did Aunt Livvy die, and what is the secret behind the bags of gemstones that Vinnie found?

The author has a fun, light-hearted voice that I enjoyed reading. Though the plot wasn't deep or really thought-provoking, it was still utterly entertaining. As a fan of cozy mysteries, I can say this book checks off all those things I look for in the genre. Vinnie along with her family and friends are people I want to visit with again. I recommend this story to fans of the genre and can't wait to read the next installment.

MEET THE AUTHOR

As a humorous, cozy mystery writer, J.M. adds a touch of romance to every story. She believes in fairies, doesn't believe in coincidence, and feels life is what you make it. Believe in yourself and look at the positive, not the negative, to bring about success. AND. . .never stop trying.

J.M. lives in rural New England with her husband and two very mysterious cats
